Housed in a charming, city-owned historic residence, the Haskell Museum presents a comprehensive journey through the town’s past. Its galleries feature rotating exhibits on local industries, civic milestones, family life, and cultural traditions—from early agriculture and railroads to community celebrations and school memorabilia. Archival photographs, oral histories, and hands-on artifacts invite visitors to explore how Haskell evolved over generations.
“To display different things about Haskell through the years.”
To foster community pride and connection by honoring Haskell’s unique stories and shared heritage.
Jeff Arey & Emaline Stroud -- Jeff Arey served as mayor of Haskell and championed the project as a way to enrich community life and Emaline Stroud, a dedicated family-history researcher, enthusiastically agreed to curate and organize the collection when Mayor Arey offered the city’s historic house for the museum.
